Description
ProbeMaster Hardware Hacking Breakout DIY Kit
This board is to make my life easier when measuring/probing unknown hardware. Often I want to hook up a logic probe or DMM in to the crcuit and manipulate the outputs- hence the dipswitches so I can turn things on or off
Parts Included
- ProbeMaster PCB with DIP Switches Preinstalled
- Screw Terminals
- Male and Female 2.54mm headers
- Laser Cut acrylic base plate
Code and instructions on GitHub here: MKme/probemaster: Probing breakout for hardware hacking. Hook measurement equipment & components into DUT (github.com)
The prototyping area will allow me to add any components INSIDE the working circuit while measuring on the DUT- Handy eh?
You can add capacitance, resistance, switches LED indicators easily by putting them right in series or paralell with the circuit
While the DIP switch connections allow probing the lower connections are not joined in the center- this allows the user to either connect them or connect with more components as mentioned above

How to Use It
- Hook up in line with any cricuits you like
- Feed power/ground through if you like
- Use dip switches to turn on/off any circuit you have running through
- Use a small jumper wire over the open switch to measure current flow with your ammeter on any circuit
