XTOC – Tactical Operations Center

XTOC: Building a Tactical Operations Center That Works When Everything Else Fails

Most tools are built for comfort.

XTOC was built for when things go wrong.

The Problem

When you’re coordinating operations in the field—whether it’s search and rescue, disaster response, or even a complex hunt—everything breaks down fast.

  • Cell service drops
  • Apps stop syncing
  • Information gets fragmented
  • People lose situational awareness

We saw the same issue over and over: tools designed for the office being forced into the field.

The Idea

XTOC (Tactical Operations Center) was built around one core idea:

Information should move—even when networks don’t.

Instead of relying on cloud-first systems, XTOC is designed to operate in degraded environments:

  • Offline-first architecture
  • Mesh-capable data sharing
  • Real-time activity feeds
  • Mission-focused dashboards

The Build

XTOC started as a simple concept: a shared operational board.

It quickly evolved into a full system:

  • Live activity feed (like a tactical Slack)
  • Map overlays and tracking
  • Drone ISR integration
  • Digital ICS-style workflows
  • Custom packet transport systems

Every feature had to answer one question:

“Does this still work when the network doesn’t?”

Where It’s Going

XTOC is evolving into a complete field command ecosystem:

  • Integration with radio systems (JS8Call, FLDIGI, etc.)
  • Offline data sync via QR / mesh
  • Sensor and ISR ingestion
  • Full tactical comms integration with XCOM

Why It Matters

When you’re in the field, clarity wins.

Not more data—better data, delivered reliably.

XTOC isn’t just another app.

It’s a system designed for when things actually matter.

Because when everything else fails… your tools shouldn’t.
